Alston Records was an American record label founded by Henry Stone and Steve Alaimo in 1964 that went bankrupt in 1981.^[1] Artists previously on its roster include Bill Pursell,^[1] Betty Wright,^[2] The Beginning of the End ("Funky Nassau"),^[1] Jimmy "Bo" Horne,^[2] Clarence Reid,^[2] Timmy Thomas^[2] and Sam & Dave.^[1]
