Concept Cars: First Appearance in ASEAN

Local media noted that the Exeed Sterra T and ET9 concept cars will make their first public debut in the ASEAN region during this year’s show. The new Chery QQ3 concept will also be showcased in Thailand. The production version of the latest QQ3 is scheduled to launch in Q1 2026. The model was first revealed at the Chengdu Auto Show this August and introduces Chery’s latest design direction. Following the QQ3, the brand also plans to roll out new models like the QQ5.

Current Models for the Thailand Market

As for vehicles already available in the market, the Chery V23 was released in Thailand this October with two trims, priced at 699,900 and 889,900 baht. Meanwhile, the TIGGO 8 CSH will feature Chery’s latest PHEV powertrain, offering an impressive 1,200 km combined driving range. Its pricing is expected to start in the upper-900,000-baht range.

Chery’s Long-Term Strategy for Thailand

Chery’s Thailand division previously announced that it will accelerate local expansion. The company aims to introduce 15 new energy models globally within the next three years, while also strengthening its presence in the Thai market. It has already established 30 service centers, built a parts reserve system, and secured over 1,000 pre-orders. The brand’s first locally produced model in Thailand is planned to roll off the line in 2026.
