Cristina Gajoni

Born in Milan, Gajoni studied acting at the drama school of Piccolo Teatro under Giorgio Strehler.^[1][2] She made her film debut in 1958, playing a minor role in Tempest.^[2] In 1960, she won a Nastro d'Argento for Best Supporting Actress for her performance in Renato Castellani's ...And the Wild Wild Women.^[3] In the following years, she was increasingly cast in minor productions, and disillusioned with her career, she slowed down her acting career to focus on painting.^[2]
