Gueschart (French pronunciation: [ɡɛʃaʁ]; Picard: Djéchart) is a commune in the Somme department in Hauts-de-France in northern France. It was the target of bombing raids during the Second World War aimed at destroying nearby V1 launch sites,[3] whose foundations can still be seen on the south-west outskirts of the village, near the D938.
Gueschart is situated on the D938 road, a mile from the banks of the river Authie, the border with the Pas-de-Calais, some 14 miles (23 km) northeast of Abbeville.
