Jarinu is a municipality in the state of São Paulo in Brazil. The population is 30,617 (2020 est.) in an area of 208 km2.[2] The elevation is 755 m.
The municipality was created by state law in 1948.[3]

In telecommunications, the city was served by Telecomunicações de São Paulo.[4] In July 1998, this company was acquired by Telefónica, which adopted the Vivo brand in 2012.
