Ada Lovelace

Lord Byron leaves England shortly after Ada's birth and the separation from his wife. Ada never knew her father personally.

Lord Byron dies in Greece at the age of 36. Ada is eight years old at the time. Despite never knowing him, she is deeply affected by his death and his reputation.

As Ada matures, she develops a complex relationship with her father's memory. She is both fascinated by his poetic genius and determined to distinguish herself from his perceived moral failings. In the end, she requested to be buried next to him.
