Caitlyn Jenner was born as William Bruce Jenner in Mount Kisco, New York.

Jenner struggled with dyslexia but found success in sports at Newtown High School in Newtown, Connecticut.

Jenner attended Graceland College (now Graceland University) in Iowa on a football scholarship but switched to track and field after a knee injury.
