December Poems is a solo album by American jazz bassist Gary Peacock, recorded in December 1977 and released on the ECM label in 1979; Norwegian saxophonist Jan Garbarek makes a guest appearance for two duets.[1][2]

Reception

[edit]

The AllMusic review by David R. Adler stated: "Despite the sparse and somewhat cold feeling of the record, Peacock's virtuosity and sterling tone are well-served in a solo format."[3]
