The City Council of Lake Geneva, Wisconsin, approved Gail Gygax's application
for a site of memorial in Donian Park to her late husband, Gary Gygax. This
approval was a significant step in honoring his legacy in the city where he
lived and worked.

Gary Gygax married Gail Carpenter on what would have been his parents' 50th
wedding anniversary. This marriage occurred after his divorce from Mary Jo
Powell and marked a new chapter in his personal life, coinciding with a period
of professional challenges and transitions after leaving TSR.
