The International Solar Energy Society (ISES), founded in 1954,^[2] is a UN-accredited membership organization promoting renewable energy.^[3]^[4] It is the largest international solar association,^[5] and there are branches in countries such as UK.^[6] They write a monthly column for pv magazine,^[7] and judge the Farrington Daniels Award.^[8]
