1958
Savile began his radio career as a DJ at Radio Luxembourg, where he presented six programmes a week and reached six million listeners with his Saturday show.
BBC Radio 1
1968
Savile joined BBC Radio 1, where he presented various shows, including "Savile's Travels" and "Jimmy Savile's Old Record Club", which featured old charts and used a points system for an imaginary quiz.
The Double Top Ten Show
1973-1987
Savile presented "The Double Top Ten Show", which later became "The Triple Top Ten Show", playing top tens from years gone by.
The Vintage Chart Show
