Keegan played for Scunthorpe United before being signed by Liverpool.

Keegan won three First Division titles, the UEFA Cup twice, the FA Cup, and the European Cup with Liverpool.
Hamburger SV
1977-1980
Keegan moved to Hamburg and was named European Footballer of the Year in 1978 and 1979. Hamburg won the Bundesliga title in the 1978–79 season.
Southampton

Keegan played for Southampton, scoring 30 goals in all competitions in his second season and winning the golden boot.
