Evans, Kai N. Ture, Priah Ferguson, Nicole Douglas, and Mary Ann la Cue in supporting roles.[2] The film has been shot in Atlanta, Georgia. The film premiered on 1 June 2017 in the United States.[3] The film received positive reviews from critics.[4] In 2018 at the Black Reel Awards, the film was nominated for the Outstanding Original Song.[5][6][7]
