Lindsey E. Tichenor (born January 29, 1977) is an American politician from Kentucky. A member of the Republican Party, she has represented District 6 in the Kentucky Senate since January 1, 2023.[1] She is a licensed real estate agent based in Smithfield, Kentucky.[2][3]
Lindsey Tichenor was born in Louisville, Kentucky. She has worked as a real estate agent at Covenant Realty, LLC, and worked at Arbonne International. She participated in international outreach work with Water Step/Edge Outreach and has served in local Republican Party roles in Oldham County, including serving as education and district chair, and is a member of the Oldham County Republican Women's Club.[4]
In 2022, Tichenor won the Republican nomination, defeating Bill Ferko in the primary with 54% of the vote.[5][6] In the general election, she won the general election against Democratic write-in candidate Brian Easley, receiving 94.5% of the vote.[7]
Tichenor has announced her intention to run for re-election in 2026.[8]
