Lisa passed a YG Entertainment audition in Thailand, becoming the only person selected from the audition. She was invited to sign a contract with YG Entertainment.

Lisa debuted as a member of Blackpink alongside Jennie, Rosé, and Jisoo with the debut singles 'Boombayah' and 'Whistle'.

Blackpink released several successful albums including 'Square Up' (2018), 'Kill This Love' (2019), 'The Album' (2020), and 'Born Pink' (2022). The group also embarked on the 'Born Pink World Tour' (2022-2023), which became the highest-grossing tour by a girl group in history.
