Martin Scorsese

Martin Charles Scorsese was born in Queens, New York, to Italian-American parents.

Scorsese grew up in Little Italy, Manhattan, where he was exposed to Italian culture and cinema.

Scorsese attended Cardinal Hayes High School and later enrolled in the Tisch School of the Arts at New York University, where he studied film.
