Nonant-le-Pin (French pronunciation: [nɔnɑ̃ lə pɛ̃] ⓘ) is a former commune in the Orne department in north-western France. On 1 January 2025, it was merged into the new commune of Merlerault-le-Pin.[2]
The commune is made up of the following collection of villages and hamlets, La Butte,La Reboursière, La Chauvinière, Les Terres Noires,Les Mandrettes and Nonant-le-Pin.[3]
The former Commune is within the Natura 2000 protected area of Bocages et vergers du sud Pays d'Auge.[4]
The former commune is part of a 20,593 hectare, Natura 2000 conservation area, called the Haute vallée de l'Orne et affluents.[5]
Nonant-le-Pin has 2 rivers that run through it, the Dieuge and the Ure.
