This is a list of oil refineries.
The Oil & Gas Journal publishes a worldwide list of refineries annually in a country-by-country tabulation that includes for each refinery: location, crude oil daily processing capacity, and the size of each process unit in the refinery. For some countries, the refinery list is further categorized state-by-state. The list appears in some of their December issues.[not verified in body]

As of 2018, Canadian refineries collectively had the capacity to process 1,600,000 bbl/d (250,000 m3/d) of crude oil, and produce 1,900,000 bbl/d (300,000 m3/d) of petroleum products.
As of January 2024[update], there were 132 operating oil refineries in the United States with an atmospheric crude oil distillation capacity of 18,374,628 barrels per calendar day according to the U.S. Energy Information Administration (EIA).
