Braverman served as Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State at the Department for Exiting the European Union. In this role, she was involved in the complex legal and logistical preparations for the UK's departure from the EU.

Braverman was appointed Attorney General for England and Wales, a senior legal position in the government. She advised the government on legal matters and oversaw the Crown Prosecution Service.
