List of public corporations by market capitalization

The following is a list of publicly traded companies, having the greatest market capitalization, sometimes described as their "market value".

Market capitalization is calculated by multiplying the share price on a selected day and the number of outstanding shares on that day. The list is expressed in USD millions, using exchange rates from the selected day to convert other currencies.

The table below lists all companies that have ever had a market capitalization exceeding $1 trillion, the date on which their market cap first exceeded $1 trillion and their record market cap.

Only companies with free float of at least 15% are included; the value of unlisted stock classes is excluded. Investment companies are not included in the list.

Note: All market capitalization figures are in USD millions.

This list is up to date as of 30 September 2025. Indicated changes in market value are relative to the previous quarter.
