An untitled[1] film written, directed and produced by J. J. Abrams is an upcoming American fantasy film starring Glen Powell, Jenna Ortega, Emma Mackey and Samuel L. Jackson.
In May 2024, it was reported that J. J. Abrams had been working on his next feature film, in which Glen Powell had entered talks to join as the lead.[2] In August, Jenna Ortega joined the cast in an undisclosed role, with Powell confirmed to star as well.[3] In November, Emma Mackey joined and Samuel L. Jackson entered talks.[4][5] In April 2025, Jackson was confirmed to star in the film.[6] James Friend serves as the cinematographer.[7]
Principal photography began in London on April 25, 2025,[8] and continued in Edinburgh and Glasgow in June of the same year.[9][10] In August 2025, additional filming was moved to Cranston and Providence, Rhode Island.[11]
