Vikernes was convicted in France of inciting racial hatred and sentenced to six
months of probation and a fine of €8,000 due to antisemitic posts on his blog.
Vikernes and his wife were arrested in Corrèze, France, on suspicion of planning
acts of terrorism after his wife bought four rifles. They were later released
without charge for lack of evidence on terroristic plans.
