What happened with Walt Disney on 1 January, 1920

Walt Disney and Ub Iwerks were laid off from Pesmen-Rubin Commercial Art Studio due to declining revenue after Christmas. This event led to the creation of their own short-lived business, Iwerks-Disney Commercial Artists.
