The 24th AARP Movies for Grownups Awards, presented by AARP: The Magazine, will honor films and television series released in 2024.[1] Nominations were announced on November 20, 2024, with the mystery thriller Conclave and the Bob Dylan biographical drama A Complete Unknown leading the nominations with six and five, respectively.[1][2][3]

Created by and about people over the age of 50, the winners were to be announced on January 11, 2025. After a one-year hiatus, the awards will return to an in-person ceremony at the Beverly Wilshire Hotel in Los Angeles and hosted once again by Alan Cumming. The event will be broadcast by Great Performances on PBS on February 23, 2025.[1][4][5]

Announced on October 22, 2024, Glenn Close will receive the Career Achievement Award.[6]

The awards ceremony was postponed on January 8, 2025, due to the January 2025 Southern California wildfires.[7] The new date according to the website will be February 9.
