In his sophomore year (2021–22), Jackson started 32 of 33 games, improving to averages of 6.8 points, 6.8 rebounds, and 3.1 assists per game in 29.2 minutes. As a junior in 2022–23, he started all 37 games and was named team captain—the first such selection by head coach in his 22 years of coaching.
