Bomadi

Bomadi is an Ijaw local government area in Delta State, Nigeria.[1] The town lies on the bank of the Forcados River.[2] This LGA also has its headquarters located in Bomadi town.[3]
Key Information
It has eleven communities, namely: Ogriagbene, Esanma, Akugbene, Ogbein-ama, Bomadi, Kpakiama, Ekamuta-gbene, Azebiri, Ogodobiri, Okoloba and Kalafuo-gbene, Adobu, Agoloma, Aven, Bolou Apelebiri, Bolou-Angiama, Odorubu, Ogo-Eze[4] As at the 2006 census, this LGA has a total population of 86,016 people.[5]
Water Pollution
[edit]The causes of water polluton in Bomadi is due to the wrong siting of well water and bolehole. The sources of water at Bomadi is closer to the sewage tank, so people dump refuse to the water.[6]
Climate
[edit]In the town Bomadi, the dry season is always very hot and cloudy but during the wet season, it always warm.The temperature is always within 70°F to 87°F.
