Castelvieilh (French pronunciation: [kastɛlvjɛj]; Occitan: Castèthvièlh) is a commune in the Hautes-Pyrénées department in south-western France.

Castelvieilh has an oceanic climate (Köppen climate classification Cfb) closely bordering on a humid subtropical climate (Cfa). The average annual temperature in Castelvieilh is 13.5 °C (56.3 °F). The average annual rainfall is 956.0 mm (37.64 in) with May as the wettest month. The temperatures are highest on average in August, at around 21.2 °C (70.2 °F), and lowest in January, at around 6.6 °C (43.9 °F). The highest temperature ever recorded in Castelvieilh was 39.6 °C (103.3 °F) on 4 August 2003; the coldest temperature ever recorded was −11.0 °C (12.2 °F) on 8 February 2012.
