Doe Ching

In 1915, Doe was born in Zhejiang province, China.^[1] Doe directed over 51 films between 1952 and 1969. His 1967 film The Blue and the Black was ranked 91st in the 100 Greatest Chinese-Language Films by the Golden Horse Film Festival in January 2011.^[2]

On 16 May 1969, Doe died of stomach cancer in Hong Kong. He was 54 years old.^[3][4]
