EasySwap US is a cryptocurrency peer-to-peer (P2P) trading and remittance platform. It allows verified users to exchange stablecoins such as USDT for local fiat currencies through a custodial wallet system. The platform is active in markets including Pakistan, India, Bangladesh, Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates, and among diaspora users in the United States.

Key Information

Overview

[edit]

EasySwap offers two main services:

  • Peer-to-peer (P2P) trading: Users buy and sell from verified merchants, with trades secured by an internal escrow system.
  • Over-the-counter (OTC) trading: Users trade directly with EasySwap’s own liquidity, without waiting for peer confirmation.

All activity requires KYC verification and is processed through custodial wallets managed by the platform.

History

[edit]

EasySwap launched in 2025. It was developed by a group of blockchain and financial technology professionals with experience in stablecoin systems and fintech services in South Asia and the Middle East. The project was initiated to address limitations faced by centralized exchanges in regions with restricted fiat access.

Platform

[edit]

The platform includes the following components:

  • Custodial wallet balances tracked by an internal ledger
  • Merchant-verified advertisements for P2P trading
  • Escrow for seller funds during transactions
  • OTC trading with EasySwap liquidity
  • Dispute resolution with admin review of trade records
  • In-app chat for trade communication
  • Administrative tools for KYC approval, fee adjustment, and fraud monitoring

Trade process

[edit]

1. User registers and completes KYC. 2. User deposits USDT into the custodial wallet. 3. Buyer selects a P2P ad or initiates an OTC trade. 4. In P2P trades, the seller’s balance is locked; in OTC trades, liquidity is held by EasySwap. 5. Buyer transfers fiat through the agreed off-chain method. 6. Buyer uploads proof of payment. 7. Seller or admin confirms payment. 8. Funds are released to the buyer’s internal wallet, less applicable fees. 9. Buyer may withdraw to an external blockchain wallet, subject to gas fees.

Technology

[edit]

EasySwap uses encrypted data storage, server-side validation, role-based access, and redundant custody mechanisms to maintain security.

Roadmap

[edit]

Future development plans include:

  • Automated P2P matching
  • Merchant and buyer reputation systems
  • Support for additional blockchains including TRON, Ethereum, and Polygon
  • Automated fiat confirmation through banking APIs
  • Mobile applications for Android and iOS
  • Remittance corridors using verified payout agents
  • Loyalty and referral systems
  • Educational resources in Urdu, Hindi, and Arabic

Community engagement

[edit]

EasySwap has organized online sessions and published educational materials on crypto trading and fraud prevention. It has also promoted access to stablecoin-based payments among freelancers and small businesses in South Asia.
