Edward Christopher Sheeran was born in Halifax, West Yorkshire, England.

Sheeran and his family moved from Hebden Bridge to Framlingham in Suffolk.

Sheeran began singing at a local church choir.

Sheeran learned how to play the guitar and began writing songs while at Thomas Mills High School in Framlingham.
