British film editor
Eddie Hamilton is a British film editor . He is a member of the American Cinema Editors .[ 1] He is a frequent collaborator with directors Matthew Vaughn and Christopher McQuarrie .[ 2] [ 3]
After his collaboration with actor Tom Cruise on the Mission Impossible film series , Cruise recommended to director Joseph Kosinski that Hamilton edit their film Top Gun: Maverick .[ 4] For his work on the film, Hamilton was nominated for numerous year-end awards, including the Academy Award and BAFTA Award .[ 5] [ 6]
