Edward VII's marriage to Alexandra of Denmark was an arranged union that produced six children but was not particularly happy.

Edward married Alexandra, eldest daughter of Prince Christian (later King Christian IX) of Denmark, in an arranged marriage for dynastic purposes.
Children
1863-1892
The couple had six children, with five surviving to maturity. Their eldest son, Prince Albert Victor, died of pneumonia in 1892.
