Erica Dunton
Erica Dunton is a British director and screenwriter. Her television directing credits include Ted Lasso (2021–2023), The Summer I Turned Pretty (2022), Outer Banks (2024), and You (2025). She has been nominated for two Directors Guild of America Awards.
Dunton's father, Joe Dunton, was a cinematographer who won the BAFTA Outstanding British Contribution to Cinema Award in 2010. She has two brothers, Lester and Richard. She earned a law degree from Durham University and later studied at the National Film and Television School. Early in her filmmaking career, she also tutored Eve Hewson, whom she cast in her film The 27 Club.
