Faithfully Yours (play)

Faithfully Yours is a 1951 American stage play by Ladislaus Bush-Fekete and Mary Helen Fay based on the play by Jean Bernard-Luc.

Its Broadway production starred Robert Cummings and ran for 68 performances. It was once known as The Philemon Complex.

A psychoanalyst persuades a wife to leave her happy marriage.

Time Magazine wrote "The worst thing about the play isn’t that it never comes within hailing distance of satire, but that it is altogether stupefying as farce."

Variety wrote "as a play its virtually nothing at all but Cummings in particular gives a talented an infectious comedy performance."

The play was adapted by John Clements for a British version called The Happy Marriage.
