History

[edit]

Frontwave Arena is the first large multi-purpose indoor entertainment venue in the North County area of San Diego County. In 2022, a 10-year naming rights agreement with Oceanside-headquartered Frontwave Credit Union was announced, giving the arena its official name.[4]

The arena opened on September 16, 2024, for the Gold Over America Tour.[5] On October 5, the arena held its inaugural concert headlined by Cake.[6]
