Igor Sikorsky married Olga Fyodorovna in Russia. They had one daughter, Tatiana, born in 1915. Tatiana later became a teacher.

After immigrating to the United States, Sikorsky married Elisabeth Semionovna in 1924. Elisabeth played a significant role in supporting Igor throughout his career in the US.

Igor and Elisabeth Sikorsky had four sons: Sergei, Igor Jr., Andrew, and Nicholas. They raised their family in Stratford, Connecticut. His sons would later take part in the business.

Beyond aviation, Sikorsky had a strong interest in philosophy, religion, and spirituality. He wrote books and articles on these subjects. He held traditional Russian Orthodox values.

Igor Sikorsky lived to see his children grow up and have families of their own, leaving behind a legacy of innovation and achievement. His grandchildren and great-grandchildren carry on his name and continue to be involved in various fields.
