Jaden Hicks

Jaden Hicks (born August 16, 2002)[1] is an American professional football safety for the Kansas City Chiefs of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football for the Washington State Cougars.

Early life
[edit]Hicks attended Bishop Gorman High School in Las Vegas, Nevada. As a junior, he had seven interceptions and returned three for a touchdown. His senior season was canceled because of the COVID-19 pandemic. He committed to Washington State University to play college football.[2]
College career
[edit]Hicks played in one game his first season at Washington State in 2021 and took a redshirt. As a redshirt freshman in 2022, he started 11 of 13 games and had 76 tackles, one interception and one sack.[3][4] He returned to Washington State as a starter in 2023.[5][6]

Hicks was selected by the Kansas City Chiefs with the 133rd overall pick in the fourth round of the 2024 NFL draft.[10]
As a rookie, he led the Chiefs in interceptions made with 3.[11]
