Jason Howard is an American comic book artist known for his collaborations with Robert Kirkman on the creator-owned series The Astounding Wolf-Man and Super Dinosaur, as well as his work with Warren Ellis on the acclaimed science fiction series Trees. [1] [2] He has also written and illustrated his creator-owned series Big Girls, and illustrated titles such as Cemetery Beach. [1]
Howard's career gained significant momentum in 2005 when he began a long-term partnership with writer Robert Kirkman, initially contributing to the Image Comics mini-series The Pact starting with issue #4, before co-creating The Astounding Wolf-Man, which launched prominently on Free Comic Book Day in 2007. [2] This collaboration extended to Super Dinosaur, an all-ages adventure series highlighting a boy's bond with a dinosaur companion. [2] His illustration work on Trees further established his reputation in genre storytelling, and his projects demonstrate his range as both an artist and writer within the Image Comics ecosystem.
