Jayanta Sen is an Indian football manager and former footballer who serves as the head coach of the Bengal Super League club Medinipur. He played as a midfielder.

Career
[edit]Jayanta was born in Behala, Kolkata. He started his career with FCI for a year before joining Tollygunge Agragami in 1998. It was in Tollygunge. Mohun Bagan noticed him in 2000. He then joined East Bengal in 2004. He moved to Chirag United. He was also part of the West Bengal team that won the 2010 Santosh Trophy. Mohun Bagan resigned him in 2010. In 2011–12 he played for Prayag United in the I-League. In 2012, he signed for Mohammedan S.C., helping them win the 2013 I-League 2nd Division.
