Kristopher Kyer, or Kristopher Antekeier; is an American actor, dialogue coach and acting coach. His career spans more than three decades as an actor,[1] performer, teacher, singer and director in the entertainment industry. For almost two decades in Burbank, he was the director and owner of the Kyer Workshop for Actors. As an actor, Kyer appeared in several commercials, especially as a scarecrow for advertising White Lily cornmeal, which ran for many years.

Kristopher Kyer was born on May 9, 1958, in Muskegon, Michigan, USA. His birth name was Kristopher B. Antekeier, and he later adopted the professional name Kristopher Kyer. He was born and raised in Muskegon, Michigan, as one of five children in a family where his father owned multiple men's clothing stores and his mother worked as a homemaker. From age nine, Kyer worked at his father's stores, gaining early experience in retail. He later began performing as a self-booked magician at parties during his youth. After graduating high school at age 18, Kyer briefly attended college before pursuing a career in entertainment.

Kristopher Kyer's television and film acting career spans more than three decades, featuring a range of guest, co-starring, voice, and featured roles, primarily in episodic television. Among his television credits are voice appearances as Mall Announcer and TV Voice #1 across three episodes of Boy Meets World between 1993 and 1994, Emcee on USA High from 1997 to 1999, a co-starring role on Linc's in 1998, and the Ringmaster in the Quantum Leap episode "Leaping in Without a Net" in 1990. He also starred as Mr. Buckethead in the syndicated children's series Barnyard Place. His film work includes voice contributions to The 3 Little Pigs: The Movie in 1996 and an uncredited portrayal of Dick Van Dyke in Saving Mr. Banks (2013).

Pop-up retail business

Kristopher Kyer's Christmas Corner was a seasonal pop-up retail business specializing in vintage Christmas collectibles and holiday decorations. The pop-up first opened in 2001 in Burbank and operated in various physical locations, typically changing annually, until 2022 when it shifted online-only. Kyer sourced unique vintage items globally each year, including European hand-blown glass ornaments, vintage ceramics, German nutcrackers, Italian and German linens, blow molds, animated figures, toys, and other holiday treasures. The pop-up was known for its immersive, magical shopping experience evoking nostalgia, distinguishing it from standard retail with a theatrical atmosphere influenced by Kyer's entertainment background. It earned Kyer the nickname "the Willy Wonka of Christmas." After a three-year hiatus with no physical store in 2023 and 2024, it returned for one final season in Pasadena from September 23 to December 23, 2025, at The Paseo (300 E. Colorado Blvd, Unit 141), prompted by the Eaton Fire. Kyer indicated the 2025 season would likely be the last due to physical demands. A closing sale occurred on January 11, 2026.
