Lillian Moller graduated from the University of California, Berkeley, and became the first woman to speak at a University of California commencement. The title of her speech was "Life: A Means or an End".
Lillian Evelyn Gilbreth, born Lillie Evelyn Moller, was born in Oakland, California. She was the second child and eldest surviving of nine children born to Annie (née Delger) and William Moller.
