laut.de editor Kai Butterweck found that "Lena's pop is tame and doesn't hurt. You won't find a great anthem or a real hit. But maybe that's not the point. Loyal to Myself is not an album that will freak out the masses. It's a record that you can listen to at home if you're a fan of rock-solid pop music."[1]
