Nick Floyd is an American college athletics administrator. He was most recently the athletic director at the University of Louisiana at Monroe, a position he held from 2017 to 2018. Before that appointment, he served as an assistant athletic director for East Carolina University and the University of Southern Mississippi, as well as Associate Commissioner for Conference USA from 1998 to 2001. Floyd graduated from Clemson University with a bachelor's degree in 1982, and the University of Mississippi with a master's degree in 1985.[1][2] Floyd was named athletic director at the University of Louisiana at Monroe on July 6, 2017.[3][4][5][6][7][8][9] Floyd resigned his position as athletic director at the University of Louisiana at Monroe on August 20, 2018.[10]

Nick Floyd is an American Baptist pastor known for serving as senior pastor of Cross Church Northwest Arkansas, having succeeded his father, Ronnie Floyd, in that role following an overwhelming congregational affirmation in 2019. [1] Born and raised within the Cross Church community, Floyd was saved, baptized, discipled, called to ministry, licensed, and ordained there, making him a lifelong product of the church's ministry. [1] He holds a bachelor's degree in Biblical Studies from Liberty University, a Master of Divinity from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, and a Doctor of Ministry from Liberty University School of Divinity. [2]
Floyd joined the Cross Church staff more than a decade before his appointment as senior pastor, initially serving at the Rogers campus before helping launch and lead services at the Springdale campus and founding the Fayetteville campus in 2011, which has grown to become the church's largest. [1] He later served as lead teaching pastor and staff leader, preaching weekly at Fayetteville and overseeing church staff operations. [2] Beyond his pastoral duties, Floyd has been a trustee at the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary since 2012, a board member of the Arkansas Baptist State Convention since 2014, and team chaplain for the University of Arkansas Razorback football team since 2014. [2]
He is married to Meredith Floyd, whom he met at Liberty University, and they have four children: Reese, Beckham, Norah, and Maya. [2] Floyd's leadership emphasizes the authority of Scripture, reaching northwest Arkansas and beyond for Christ, and fostering the manifest presence of God in church gatherings. [1]
