Nicolas Ford (born October 8, 1999) is an American professional football center for the Massachusetts Pirates of the Indoor Football League (IFL). He played college football for the Utah Utes.

Ford was raised in San Pedro, California, playing high school football at San Pedro High School.[1] He committed to play college football for the Utah Utes on February 1, 2017.[2]

Professional career

Ford was signed by the Jacksonville Jaguars as an undrafted free agent on April 30, 2022, shortly after the conclusion of the 2022 NFL draft.[3] He was waived on August 30 and signed to the practice squad the next day.[4][5] He was released off the practice squad on September 12, 2022.[6]

On December 12, 2024, Ford signed with the Massachusetts Pirates of the Indoor Football League (IFL).[7]

Nick Ford was born on October 8, 1999, in San Pedro, California. He attended San Pedro High School, where he excelled as both an offensive and defensive lineman and also lettered in track and field. In his senior year (2016), he was named Marine League Defensive Player of the Year and CIF-LA City Section Division I Offensive Lineman of the Year. He recorded 56 tackles (including 24 tackles for loss and 10 sacks), two pass breakups, one forced fumble, and 25 pancake blocks. Ford is the son of Michael and Maria Ford. His father played wide receiver for the University of California from 1986 to 1989. He has two brothers and one sister, and his older brother’s health condition inspired him to take up football. His heritage includes black Portuguese and Native American ancestry.

Career
