Feynman traveled to various countries throughout his life, including Brazil, Japan, and the Soviet Union. He enjoyed immersing himself in different cultures and learning about different ways of life. He learned to speak Portuguese, using it during his time in Brazil teaching physics.

Feynman developed a love for Brazilian Carnival, participating in the festivities and embracing the vibrant culture of the country. He even learned to play the bongo drums, which became one of his signature hobbies.

In his later years, Feynman became fascinated with the remote republic of Tuva (now part of Russia). He repeatedly attempted to visit Tuva, but was unsuccessful due to bureaucratic obstacles. This quest became a symbol of his adventurous spirit and his desire to explore the unknown.
