Ryan Joseph Giggs OBE (né Wilson; born 29 November 1973) is a Welsh football coach, former player, and co-owner of Salford City. He is regarded as one of the greatest players of his generation and one of the best wingers in the history of football. Giggs spent his entire professional career at Manchester United, where he also served as the club's interim player-manager and assistant manager.

Youth Career at Manchester City
1985-1987
Giggs began his youth career with Deans FC and later joined Manchester City before moving to Manchester United on his 14th birthday in 1987.
Joining Manchester United

On his 14th birthday, Giggs joined Manchester United after being scouted by Alex Ferguson. He was offered a two-year associate schoolboy contract.
Professional Debut

Giggs made his professional debut for Manchester United on 2 March 1991, as a substitute against Everton. He scored his first goal in a 1-0 win in the Manchester derby on 4 May 1991.
Career at Manchester United
1991-2014
Giggs spent 23 years in the Manchester United first team, making 963 competitive appearances and scoring 168 goals. He won numerous titles, including 13 Premier League titles, four FA Cups, and two UEFA Champions League titles.
Interim Manager at Manchester United
2014
Giggs became the interim manager of Manchester United after the sacking of David Moyes in April 2014. He later served as assistant manager under Louis van Gaal.
