Sakaba is one of the 21 Local Government Areas (LGAs) in Kebbi State, Nigeria.[5] It's part of the Zuru Emirate and has its headquarters in Dirindaji.[6] Sakaba became part of Kebbi State when it was created from Sokoto State on 27 August, 1991.[5]

Sakaba has a population projection of approximately 156,700 people,[2] with Hausa,[5] Fulani, Dakarkari,[7] Acipa[disambiguation needed], and Dukkawa being the dominant ethnic groups.
