Shone An began his acting career in 2004 with his debut role as Fan Tung-Tao in the Taiwanese television series Mars, where he appeared in 12 episodes.[2][7] This early work overlapped with his final months in the boy band Comic Boyz, which disbanded in 2005, after which he shifted focus toward acting.[1] The following year, he played Chang Chieh in Ai yu yong qi.[2] After a hiatus, An returned to the screen in 2010 as Ding Jia-Jun in Min Gan Shi Jian.[2] He later portrayed Peter in The Diamond's Dream in 2013, appearing in 9 episodes, and took the role of Li Yao in School Beauty's Personal Bodyguard in 2015, featuring in 8 episodes.[7] His acting career, which spanned from 2004 to 2015, consisted primarily of supporting roles in television dramas, mostly within the Taiwanese and Chinese markets.[2]Personal life
Illness and death
Shone An was a carrier of the hepatitis B virus, which led to liver cirrhosis. He was first diagnosed with liver cancer in 2013 and received treatment, which initially controlled the disease with only a few tumors present. However, the cancer recurred in 2015, and his condition deteriorated rapidly. He learned that it had reached a terminal stage only about two weeks before his death, by which time numerous tumors had developed, leading to massive gastric bleeding.
