Symmetric power

In mathematics, the n-th symmetric power of an object X is the quotient of the n-fold product ${\displaystyle X^{n}:=X\times \cdots \times X}$ by the permutation action of the symmetric group ${\displaystyle {\mathfrak {S}}_{n}}$.
