Tianya Club (Chinese: 天涯社区; pinyin: Tiānyá Shèqū; lit. 'Edge of the World Community') was one of the most popular Internet forums in China. As of 2015, it was ranked by Alexa as the 11th most visited site in the People's Republic of China and 60th overall. It was founded on 14 February 1999 and provided BBS, blog, microblog and photo album services.
Politicians have used Tianya Club to campaign, answer questions from constituents, and gather grassroots support.
